Public Improvement District Service and Assessment Plans
To comply with the requirements of the Public Improvement District (PID) Act, the City of Decatur is required to make Service and Assessment Plans (SAP) and Annual Service Plan Updates (SAP Updates) publicly accessible.
The PID Act mandates that each SAP and SAP Update be filed in the county’s real property records and posted on the City’s website used for purposes of Section 26.18 of the Texas Tax Code within seven days of City Council approval.
The City’s Finance webpage serves as the location for information required under Section 26.18.
To ensure full compliance with state law and to provide clear, transparent access to PID-related documents, the City has created a dedicated section titled “Public Improvement District Service and Assessment Plans.”
This page will serve as the central repository for all current and future Service and Assessment Plans and Service and Assessment Plan Updates.
Each update will be available through direct links so residents, property owners, and interested stakeholders can easily review the approved plans and understand the services, assessments, and improvements associated with each Public Improvement District."
