New Technology Fee Effective August 1, 2026
The City of Frisco has adopted a new 6% Technology Fee on all permits, projects, licenses, and other submittals processed through the City’s land development and permitting system.
This fee supports software, maintenance, and digital infrastructure needed to provide efficient online services.
The fee applies to all permits and projects beginning August 1, 2026 , with limited exclusions as outlined in Ordinance 2026‑05‑40 .
The Code Enforcement Division inspects multi-family housing structures and properties and helps ensure licensing and annual inspections are compliant.

The Multi-family License Application Form is available for property owners to complete.
